Full-Time and Part-Time Direct Support Professional Positions are available in our Residential and Day Habilitation Programs

Under the general direction of the manager, the Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing direct care services to the individuals we support in such a manner that promotes independence and individuality.

Candidates must have a HS Diploma/GED, and a valid/clean (8 or fewer points) NYS Driver’s License

A minimum of 6 months experience working with individuals with intellectual challenges a plus but not required

CPR certified and SCIP-R certified a plus, but not required

$1200 Sign-On Bonus for successful DSP candidates in our Residential Program

 


Community Services
Part-Time-At-Home Community Habilitation Specialist In Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

Under the general direction of the Community Services Coordinator, the In-Home Residential Habilitation Support Professional is responsible for providing services to the consumer in accordance with the established Individual Service Plan as well as the In-Home Residential Habilitation Plans. This dedicated candidate will be responsible for providing training and support for the individual in accordance with the person’s In-Home Residential Habilitation Plans; and assisting the individual in the planning, coordinating and attending community inclusion activities within his/her home and community.

Requirements

High School Diploma or a GED, a college degree in Human Service, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred. A minimum of one-year experience providing direct care support to intellectually challenged individuals preferred. Clean and valid NYS Driver’s License required. The ideal candidate is highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities; able to multi-task, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines; and able to work flexible hours including late evenings, early mornings, overnight and weekends.
