Garden City, December 2013 – In honor of Epilepsy Awareness Month, this past November, EPIC Long Island extended the fundraising campaign for the 2013 Walk for Epilepsy recently held in Eisenhower Park, East Meadow. The Walk attracted over 350 participants and raised thousands of dollars. All proceeds from the Walk are going toward EPIC LI’s programs and services that serve individuals with epilepsy.
