2017 Walk for Epilepsy

Saturday, October 14, 2017

9:00am to 1:00pm

Eisenhower Park, NY

If epilepsy has touched your life in some way, we want you to know that you are not alone. In fact, epilepsy is the fourth most common neurological disorder and on Long Island, 35,000 children and adults live with active epilepsy.  EPIC Long Island’s programs and services touch live lives of thousands of Long Islanders each year.  Our Walk for Epilepsy helps to support the programs and services that our community relies on, including: information on all aspects of epilepsy, help with accessing services and support, training to identify seizures and how to provide first aid, and educational programs for children and adults.

Your participation in our Walk for Epilepsy will increase the impact of our mission and help us: to raise awareness about epilepsy; to raise funds that support our programs and services; and to enjoy the day together in support of an important cause. EPIC Long Island’s Walk for Epilepsy is a special opportunity to join hundreds of people with a shared passion and commitment to helping those with epilepsy.

Contributions to our Walk for Epilepsy will help to support every Long Islander affected by epilepsy.  Your support helps to ensure that we can meet the needs of our community—children and adults with epilepsy and those that care about people with epilepsy.

You can participate in our Walk for Epilepsy as a walker, as a team member, as a Team Captain or make a donation and show how much you care!
