EPIC LONG ISLAND IS HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS

EPIC LONG ISLAND is now looking for a Vice President of IDD Services: The Vice President of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (VP of IDD Services) is a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The VP of IDD Services is responsible for the strategic leadership, management and coordination of all IDD programs across EPIC LI. Programs include: OPWDD Article 16 Clinic, OPWDD Residential and Day Programs, Community Habilitation, OPWDD Intake, and Quality Support Department. The VP of IDD Services is also responsible for ensuring cross-coordination between programs, IDD Clinics and other departments. The VP of IDD Services will lead the development and implementation of innovative programs and services that align with the organization’s mission and core values.

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• At least ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in program management, including a minimum of five (5) years in a senior leadership role with supervisory responsibility.
• Ability to work autonomously, in ambiguous situations with little direction, addressing problems without being asked, solution oriented.
• Strong understanding of CMS, HCBS, OPWDD, OMIG, Medicaid, Medicare and commercial insurance standards and regulations.
• Experience with program development, evaluation, and quality improvement processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional critical and strategic thinking skills; adept at looking at challenges and executing multi-pronged solutions in collaboration with others in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Experience in planning and executing high-stakes meetings and ability to remain flexible, calm under pressure and adaptive to change.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with diverse stakeholders to align work, solve problems and achieve goals.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage positive communication in difficult situations.
• Position pays $150,000 – $155,000

EPIC LONG ISLAND is also looking for Direct Support Professionals (DSP’s) are our backbone. DSP’s are working hands on with IDD adults in group home and day program settings. No experience needed for this position, WE WILL TRAIN YOU!!
